Registration is free of charge.
All information given must be accurate for best matched results.
Service Guarantee
We offer replacement of tutor (free-of-charge) if you are unhappy with the newly-engaged tutor. The customer has to inform C-Y Tuition within the first 2 lessons. In the case of replacement of tutor, the customer will need to pay the fees for the first 2 lessons to C-Y Tuition.
Tuition fees
Assuming 4 lessons in a month.
C-Y Tuition will collect a one time agency fee (commission) from the customer after the completion of 2nd lesson. Agency fee is 50% of the agreed tuition fee.
Sample Situation:
Tuition fee = $240 per month
($20/hour X 1.5 hours per lesson X 2 lessons per week X 4 weeks)
Agency fee of $120 (50% of tuition fee) must be paid to C-Y Tuition.
The balance tuition fee of $120 will be paid to directly to the tutor at the end of the 4th lesson.
Note:
Tutors are NOT authorized or allowed to collect agency fee on behalf on C-Y Tuition.
Tutors are NOT allowed to alter the agreed tuition fee within the first month.
The customer should inform C-Y Tuition immediately if tutors try to change agreed tuition fee, commission payable to us or by-pass C-Y Tuition.
C-Y Tuition will not be responsible if tutor change tuition fee after the first month. However, customer has the right to request for a change of tutor after the first month.
Payment modes
1. ATM Transfer, Internet Banking or Cash Deposit

2. Quick Cheque Deposit
Cheque should be paid to PAYEE NAME: Ng Su Feng
Please indicate Account Number: 029-3-083716 behind the cheque and deposit into DBS Quick Cheque Deposit Box.
3. Collection of Cash
Collection of cash by C-Y Tuition personally can be arranged with a nominal fee of $6.
Note: C-Y Tuition will inform the customer details of payment upon a successful matching assignment.
Place of Tuition
Tutors will teach at the residence of the customer as agreed and as per the address given to C-Y Tuition.
Change or termination of tutor
Request for change of tutor must be informed by the customer within the first 2 lessons.
Disclaimer
As we are unable to verify all certifications of all tutors due to many factors, the customer has to take initiative to view the certificates and observe the tutors’ capability during the initial lessons. We would inform every tutor to bring along their NRIC and original educational certificates for the customer to verify on the first lesson.
Tutor is assigned to the customer based on the best match according to the customer’s requirements and preferences. If there are conflicts that arise between the customer and the tutor, C-Y Tuition will look into situation and try to resolve the problem. In cases where conflicts are not able to be resolved, C-Y Tuition will provide the customer with next best matched tutor.
C-Y Tuition will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from the use of this website.

Tuition Assignments
Tuition assignments are based on availability.
You may check our daily updates for new assignments and express your interest on our website or by responding to our SMS, email or phone call.
Responding does not guarantee you an assignment; it depends on the customer’s choice.
Lessons
Number of lessons per week and duration of the lesson is agreed prior to the commencement of the first lesson.
You have to bring along your original educational certificates and NRIC for verification.
Failure to turn up on the first lesson may result in termination of the assignment.
Customers have the right to request for a change of tutor or terminate your assignment at any time.
C-Y Tuition has the right to terminate your assignment at anytime by providing you a reason.
Salary and Agency fee
C-Y Tuition will collect 50% of the fee for the first month as agency fee. In this case, first month refers to the first four weeks since the commencement of the first lesson.
For instance, C-Y Tuition will collect agency at the end of the 4th lesson if there are 8 lessons in total which is requested by the customer and agreed by agency and tutor.
Tuition fees for the 5th lesson onwards will be paid to tutors.
If tutors’ service is being terminated; either by yourself or the customer during the first 2 weeks, you will not receive any salary.
Note: We strictly adhere to the number of lessons, not calendar month for calculation of agency fee and salary when there is a termination or dispute.
Tutors are not allowed to negotiate with the customer on the agency fee or try to by-pass the tuition agency. Tutors who violate will not receive any salary and may not get any assignments from us in future.
